Have you heard of the Little Free Library movement? You can share the joys of reading with your neighbors by donating books, as well as discovering new things to read for yourself. Take a book or leave a book.
The Free Blockbuster is similar. Its participants take little boxes, often old newspaper vending machines, and paint them with Blockbuster Video's iconic blue. Take a DVD or VHS tape (assuming that you still have a VCR somewhere) that interests you. Leave one for other people to enjoy.
