It’s A Giant Seagull!

Nope. This is not an image edited with Photoshop. It’s just an optical illusion.

Paula Northway Poland went on a trip with her friend in 2018 to Texas to escape the cold winter in Utah. Upon arriving at the place, Poland and her friends decided to take a stroll on the beach. But as her friends sat on the shoreline, Poland decided to go to the water to feed the seagulls with bread, as she didn’t want to be with people.

Christine Mather-Poole, one of Poland’s friends, took a picture of her moment with the seagulls. Little did Mather-Poole know that she’d be capturing what would probably be the perfect seagull photo to exist.

When night came, the friends examined the photos that they took earlier in the day, and, lo and behold, a giant seagull appeared in one of the photos. It was a magnificent image. It would seem that, when Mather-Poole took a picture of her friend, a seagull suddenly took flight at the exact moment when the shutter clicked, and the result is this forced perspective image.

Talk about perfect timing!
