Tesla Diner: 24-Hour Diner & Drive-In with Superchargers coming to HollywoodDrive-in theaters were a staple back in the day. Its popularity has waned with the growing sophistication of home theaters, but now Tesla is set to take drive-ins to the future. The company has reportedly filed plans for a 29-stall supercharger and diner/drive-in theater location in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. It will be located at 7001 Santa Monica Boulevard at the intersection of Orange Drive. The proposed building will have two floors. The bottom floor will consist of the kitchen, a bar, several booths, and an outdoor bar around the edge of the building. The top floor will have outdoor rooftop seating with a bar, several tables, two rows of a theater-style seating area, and a standing bar behind the theater seats. The bottom floor will also have a “carhop area” for waitstaff to bring meal orders out to cars in the parking lot. And of course, the venue will be equipped with 29 supercharger stalls and 34 total spots – the last five will have level two chargers for lower-speed charging.Tesla is asking the city to allow the site to be operational 24 hours a day.#Tesla #diner #drivein #Hollywood #supercharger #carhop #theater
Drone Flies Inside Tesla's Berlin GigafactoryDrone footage captures the efficient intricacy inside Tesla’s Gigafactory in Berlin. The two-minute video gives a rare peek inside the swanky new facility. The company responsible for the footage is Skynamic, the same drone company that posted Elon Musk’s new dance video with a drone. The clip begins the outside of the factory, where rows of Tesla vehicles are parked. It then carefully and skillfully swoops through a door inside the factory and proceeds to fly through the tight assembly lines. The seamlessness of the drone’s move suggests that a capable drone pilot is in control of the device. Many are impressed by the drone’s flexible moves around the assembling robot’s arms.#drone #Tesla #Gigafactory #Skynamic #Berlin
Plybertruck: The DIY Plywood Version of Tesla's CybertruckBack in 2019, Elon Musk intensely promoted the Cybertruck. At the announcement event, we were told this weirdly shaped pickup truck was scheduled to release sometime this year.Over a million reservations have been placed for the upcoming vehicle as of May 2021. However, it would seem that the Cybertruck was still not finished by the time Musk promoted it, as Lars Moravy, vice president of vehicle engineering at Tesla, said back in July that they only finished basic engineering of the vehicle.Musk recently confirmed the delay of the Cybertruck, stating that production would begin by late 2022.If you are one of those who have become impatient due to the many delays in the Cybertruck, this DIY vehicle, called the Plybertruck, might be an alternative solution for you. It's not for sale, however, so you have to make it on your own.The Plybertruck, which is just a modified Acura MDX, was designed by CJ Cromwell. Cromwell also has a Facebook page dedicated to this DIY vehicle.Cool!(All Images: Plybertruck/ Facebook)#Cybertruck #DIY #Tesla #Cool #Customized

He didn't unveil a robot, just a concept for a robot.Musk’s “robot” was just a person dancing around in a skintight full-body suit, but he promises that his electric car company really is working on something. And he really wants you to believe him this time.“The Tesla bot will be real,” Musk said emphatically, trying to usher his fake robot off-stage on Thursday.
