The study, conducted by the Hans Böckler Foundation, is examining workaholic behavior across all sectors in Germany and it has found that compulsive working is becoming ever present across all sectors. The study examined 8,000 people employed in Germany. The study found 9.8% of people exhibited addictive and "compulsive" behavior in their work. Another 33% worked "excessively" but not addictively. The good news is, the majority of workers (54.9%) viewed their jobs with a more "relaxed" approach.
