On February 8, 2020, James Cowden Widmann, Eric Krug, Ed MacArthur and Tim Borden launched a 1,268 kg (2,797 lb) firework shell to claim the Guinness World Record title for the largest aerial firework shell. The firework beat the previous record by 400 lb.
