Watch Bullets Bounce Off the Surface of Water

You know it happens, but it's still hard to wrap your head around a bullet skipping on the surface of water. Bullets fired from a gun travel with so much force that it's hard to imagine that mere liquid could deflect them. If you ever got a chance to see it happen, you probably didn't really see it because it happens so fast. That's where the Slow Mo Guys come in. They've set up a full glass aquarium in a remote location so they can shoot a .22 at it, just to capture the action on high speed film. Will that aquarium survive the first attempt? Will it survive the day?

Don't underestimate the power of water. Honestly, you'll be surprised at the weird things water can do to a bullet, even when it's going hundreds of miles per hour. Gave and Dan shoot over and over from different angles, with parameters slightly changed each time. We learn a few things about bullet behavior, and the splashes in slow motion are cool, too. -via Digg
