This Is a 19th Century Dentist's Cap

The Southwark Heritage Centre in London features this curiosity from the 1800s. This cap was worn by a dentist, albeit not the dental professionals of our modern times. He was a wandering tooth-puller. Hold still while he works with the pliers and you’ll soon be free of your toothache. And you won’t get to keep it, apparently. He needs to add it to his collection to advertise his business.

The museum helpfully offers an interactive 3D model in Sketchfab that you can manipulate to view from many angles or, if you have delightfully morbid tastes, download and 3D print.
