Redditor mazekeen has a great idea for Thanksgiving, but I’m not sure if it increases or decreases the actual workload of preparing a turkey. Their sourdough bread recipe uses a combination of bread, wheat, and rye four. The dough rises for four hours, then one hour, then an hour and a half, and then a final hour. That’s probably necessary due to the complex shaping necessary to get the turkey look perfectly, even after baking. That baking requires a three-stage process at two different temperatures.
Perhaps, due to the complexity of the task, it’s as difficult to prepare as the traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner.
