Productivity Dysmorphia: When You Feel Your Accomplishments are Never Good Enough

Have you ever felt that your efforts and accomplishments aren’t good enough? If so, you’re not the only one.

Refinery29’s Anna Codrea-Rado associates this phenomenon, where people have the inability to see their own successes in their professional life, with the term productivity dysmorphia. “Productivity dysmorphia sits at the intersection of burnout, imposter syndrome, and anxiety.” She wrote. “It is ambition’s alter ego: the pursuit of productivity spurs us to do more while robbing us of the ability to savor any success we might encounter along the way.”
