Crepes are a popular snack and street food in Japan, so it should come as no surprise that the latest innovation in crepe design should come from that nation. Kurazushi, a chain of conveyor belt sushi restaurants, now offers a new type of sushi meal at a restaurant in the popular Harajuku shopping district in Tokyo: crepe-like sushi assemblages.
Sora News 24 dispatched its research staff to the scene. They found several varieties on sale for about $3.35. Pictured above is the Marinated Iberico Pork Rib Crepe, which has fried sushi rice, a cucumber slice, an omelet, and pork. This and other crepes are served in stalls that resemble the architecture of a traditional street festival. You can see more photos at Sora News 24.
