Greg Machak loved building models since he was a kid, so when the town of Braidwood, Illinois, hosted a golf cart competition, Machak entered his latest creation: a drivable Navy destroyer modeled after the USS Hollister.
Machak's creation was built in honor of his uncle, Joe Vercellotti, who served as the chief engineer aboard the warship.
