While on a train ride to Chennai, India, farmers Sankalp and Rani Parihar met a mysterious stranger who offered them a mango sapling to plant. The couple did so, without knowing the variety of mango that it will produce.
The fruit turned out to be Miyazaki Mango, one of the most expensive mangoes in the world (a box of two Miyazaki mangoes once sold for $4,500 in Japan).
Words of the pricey mango growing in the couple's orchard attracted thieves, who broke in and stole some fruits last year. Now, they had to guard the trees around the clock with three security guards and nine dogs!
