You can faintly see the stripes running vertically towards the house that were laid previously. I follow along for 2 seconds, cross over to the next stripe in the same direction, repeat.
Equipment also makes a big difference. This was done WITHOUT a stripe kit but some mowers utilize a contraption on the back that lays the grass down, making more visible stripes.
Different mowers move air differently resulting in different cut appearance. Mine moves lots of air, blowing the grass over, leaving purddy stripes.
