It was Anna Isabella’s first time in Iceland, and she spent the last four months in the country for her years-long self-portrait project. And boy, was she lucky being in the country, being able to witness the eruption of Reykjanes, and being able to take photos of the Northern Lights.
“I can definitely say that no other place has inspired me more as a photographer,” she says in her documentary film about her experience. “During my time here, I’ve experienced more incredible things that I could ever hope for,” she continues.
For Isabella, her photos express her love for nature and her connection to it.
