Noah Verrier is not a casual, self-trained hack. He’s a classically trained professional artist and art professor. His body of work reflects the highest standards of academic tradition and precise, technical execution in the way in which he paints.
His subject matter, though, is often a bit unusual. Instead of graceful figure studies or landscapes, he prefers still lifes. There's nothing odd about that, of course. But Verrier’s objects for still lifes are usually his meals, including fast food. Here, for example, is his recent order at Taco Bell. I think this is a Double Stacked Taco. He also paints Big Macs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and donuts.
