4-Year-Old Boy in Kentucky Survives 70 foot Fall From Cliff While Hiking With Family

A four-year-old boy survived a 70-foot cliff fall at the Red River Gorge in eastern Kentucky. The boy and his parents were hiking near Princess Arch when he fell and hit multiple ledges before landing 70 feet below.

The Wolfe County Search and Rescue Team (WCSART) said that the boy suffered a few scratches and bruises with no severe injuries. When they received the call about the incident, the father was already carrying his son to the nearest roadway, KY-715.

Officials said that the boy was very talkative despite the close call. He was also interested in superheroes.

ā€‹People have a higher chance of survival from a 20-25 feet fall. Anything beyond that can be very deadly. This four-year-old boy only has scratches and bruises. He is very fortunate. That, or he probably has superpowers.
